The truth is, there is a choice in how you experience life, no matter what is happening on the outside. 

What we put our attention on creates the life we experience. Partly, because this is where we have our focus, and also because the vibration we are putting out into our world is what comes back to us.

This is why it is so important to transcend thought. To live life from the permanent aspect of our nature, rather than having all of our attention on the temporary and ever-changing aspects.
